Club Mogador transforms Café Mogador in Manhattan’s East Village into a six-floor nightclub, centered around a dramatic atrium that enhances vertical circulation and spatial interaction. The design incorporates passive cooling strategies, utilizing a skylight and the stack effect to promote natural ventilation, reducing energy demand. A tensile green façade system, featuring gray water collection and reuse, further emphasizes the project’s commitment to sustainability. Fully compliant with NYC building and fire codes, the redesign reimagines the existing structure as an innovative and environmentally responsive nightlife destination.
